Ralph Lauren

John sold his work through The Victor Arwas Gallery (Editions Graphique) from its early days in 1970 until it closed in 2010. In 1998/1999 when the Ralph Lauren Flagship Store was due to open in New Bond Street, a representative from Ralph Lauren bought several of John’s Pen and Ink drawings to adorn the walls of the store. Of these, some can still be seen where they are displayed on the first floor.

A few years later, when the Ralph Lauren company were getting ready to open their new flagship store in Manhattan, the company bought more than three dozen more of his Pen and Ink drawings for that store.
